- Hex code to Pantone converter add your hex codes to this and the converter will offer some close matches. Use the "Distance" drop down and make it as small as possible for the closest colour match.
Week Two: Creating your Sitemap + Holding Page + Email System setup
Your Homework:
- Keep liaising with Chris on any branding bits.
- Check out the website templates and make a note of the one you want RSW to use on your site.
- Fill out the Get to Know You Form with as much info as you can.
- For those of you who said you want a holding page, Chris will contact you asking you to fill out our "Going Live" form so he can get your domain details and email inbox details. This doesn't mean your full website is going live so don't panic... just your holding page!
- Chris will let you know when it is time to set up your email marketing system (we recommend MailerLite) so you can start building your email list... you can leave this until later and focus on your website first.
- Please send questions to us at hello@readysteadywebsites.com with the subject starting in [WSWFP Feedback].
Week Three: Content Writing + Images
Your Homework:
- Keep liaising with Chris on any branding bits.
- Fill out the Get to Know You Form with as much info as you can.
- Refer to the Content Mapping Worksheet (button below) for creating your website content and selecting your images.
- Create your "Engaging Statement" to help you position the content for the rest of your website.
- Concentrate on your Services pages first for your website content.
- You don't need "all the pages", if you're struggling to write content, just consider creating a 5-6 page site initially and creating more content after you're live.
- Please send questions to us at hello@readysteadywebsites.com with the subject starting in [WSWFP Feedback].
Week Four: Creating your website
